The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
